ROBERT COLEMAN

He was the third partner and ultimately Jim's temporary fair-haired boy. He was jealous of everything anyone got that he did not get. His take out from the sale of the company was about $4,000,000. Some thought he was a very good engineer, a fair to micro manager, and a terrible risk taker. What do you think of him?

A midget and a lying pimp. This little bastard was jealous of everyone taller than he was--and that was almost everyone except a smallish pre-teen. I am glad he is gone.

Bob was a capable engineer who spent most of his professional life working for Jim Lindsey. when he got the top spot in the company for a few months he looked like a stunned deer in the headlights until John came along to take over the responsibility. Bob was paid about $300,000/year for about three years while the business went into a steep decline. Some of us believed that big John asked him to leave. When he did go, no one was hired or promoted to replace him. Whatever he was doing was assigned to Ted and Dave. Result: a $300,000/year savings. Bob helped himself but no one else. He has not been missed.
